Is this what lighting fixtures look like when they are first sold?

While walking around the shopping street in front of Aomori Station, I came across a store with a name that sounded like something from the early Showa period.

I was intrigued by the name of the store. Perhaps it was originally called Glass Electricity, rather than Lighting Fixtures?
